About Us
EasyFix Uganda started in 2018 and was officially registered in 2024 as a Community-Based Organization. The initiative began as a small ICT training center in Lira, offering free computer literacy and digital skills training to community members. This early focus aimed to bridge the digital divide and equip residents—especially young people—with basic computer skills to improve their employability.
Over time, it was recognized that ICT skills alone were not sufficient to address the broader economic challenges facing the community. In response, the organization expanded its programming to include a range of vocational and technical skills training designed to better meet local needs and enhance income-generation opportunities for youth.
Today, EasyFix Uganda offers diverse empowerment programs that combine digital literacy with practical vocational skills, supporting participants to transition into employment, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance.
To date, the organization has directly benefited over 10,00 individuals through its various programs, contributing to improved livelihoods, increased opportunities, and stronger community resilience in Lira.
Our Mission
Equiping vulnerable and marginalized individuals with ICT, entrepreneurship, and life skills that restore dignity, foster self-reliance, and create a long lasting change in our community.
Our Programs
EasyFix Uganda strengthens communities in Lira through targeted programs that combine practical skills, economic empowerment, mental wellbeing, and social protection — creating lasting change from the inside out.
Vocational Skills Trainingr
We create pathways to dignified employment by equipping individuals with practical skills, relevant knowledge, and real-world experience. Through strong linkages to job opportunities and access to startup capital for aspiring entrepreneurs, we empower individuals to achieve long-term economic security and self-reliance.
Women Empowerment
The Women’s Empowerment Program equips women with practical, income-generating skills and connects them to markets and savings groups to build sustainable livelihoods. By promoting financial independence and inclusion, it enhances decision-making, improves family wellbeing, and reduces vulnerability, fostering dignity, resilience, and long-term economic stability.
Mental Health & Psychosocial Support
This program provides safe spaces, counseling, and life skills training to help individuals, especially youth, manage stress, build resilience, and access community resources, promoting overall wellbeing and empowerment.
Community Social Protection
This Program strengthens access to essential social services by identifying at-risk households, raising awareness, and facilitating referrals to government and partner support systems. By providing information on health, education, child protection, legal aid, and livelihoods, and empowering communities with knowledge of their rights, the program promotes resilience, inclusion, and dignity for vulnerable individuals and families.
Economic & Financial Inclusion
The Community Economic and Financial Inclusion Empowerment Program in EasyFix Uganda promotes sustainable livelihoods by supporting income-generating activities, small businesses, and financial literacy. Through savings groups, affordable loans, and market linkages, it fosters financial discipline, independence, and household resilience, helping the community transition to stable, sustainable sources of income.
